Genital warts, also known as condylomata acuminata, are a common sexually transmitted infection caused by certain strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV). This paper provides a comprehensive overview of genital warts, encompassing their epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnostic methods, treatment options, and prevention strategies. Furthermore, we delve into the psychosocial and public health aspects of this condition and its impact on affected individuals.
