A copolymer is a type of polymer consisting of two or more different types of monomers, or building blocks, chemically bonded together in a single chain. Copolymers exhibit a wide range of properties and characteristics that make them highly versatile and valuable in various industries, including materials science, chemistry, and engineering. The structure of a copolymer can be classified into two main categories: random copolymers, where the different monomers are arranged in a random sequence, and block copolymers, where the monomers are organized into distinct blocks or segments.
